As cliche as this may seem, money is very powerful. Money is not omnipotent by any means, but controlling where your money travels takes discernment and knowledge. Upholding your values and morals with money will exponentially bolster in sustaining businesses, political figures, schools, and churches whose main goals are to disseminate well-being and prosperity. Our goal as an American people is to offer a service, provide quality with that service and ultimately give back to the "community". The monetary value of money can't buy happiness, but it can contribute to happiness by instilling education, morals, goods, and services. Individualism with a sprinkle of prudence will uphold the values that America was founded on, not by government intervention but by the people who elect it officials.
Putting your money in the right hands' demands your culpable intellect, and is put into action by investing in businesses that uphold the values that would prosper America in an illuminating way. I will list a few prime examples of this phenomenon: Target's restroom conundrum(allowing people who identify as the opposite sex use their preferred restroom), Nike shoe with Betsy Ross flag being removed from a 4th of July edition shoe due to virtue signaling Collin Kaepernick, Planned Parenthood's baby-killing agenda(eradicating 332,000 pregnancies in 2018), Ariana Grande giving 250,000 dollars to Planned Parenthood because of the "restrictive" laws that passed in Georgia back in the summer, and last but not least Chic Fil A removing its donation funds from the Salvation Army and FCA( 115,000 and 1.65 million respectively). These convoluted circumstances require the customer or user to look into what he or she invest their hard-earned money into. Being conscientious of this doesn't mean you have to be so stickler where if buying food or something of need that one store sells exclusively or in a secluded area can't be bought. This means propagating the proponents of capitalism by initiating the concept of competition through free-thinking by the individual. If Walmart is near Target and they sell all the items I need at Walmart, picking Walmart would be my ideal choice in this situation. To conclude this sentiment, my "target" is to not shop there, buy Adidas shoes, softly vilify Planned Parenthood, never attend an Ariana Grande concert, and seek more guidance about Chic-Fil-A's reasoning as to why they cut funding to these very tolerant Christian organizations. Boycotting is part of capitalism because when enough of the population is for or against an agenda action will ensue.
Giving to a cause that is destructive not only undermines a country but propagates an agenda that can kill human beings(Planned Parenthood). Being intentional where you spend your money promotes human ethics and overall quality of business. When businesses, churches, school systems, and politicians don't receive money or votes, they either get shut down or capitulate to what the people have to offer. Do not be afraid to take a stand because MONEY IS POWER.
